Minneapolis homes range from 1920s craftsman bungalows in Longfellow to postwar ramblers in Nokomis to newer infill builds near North Loop. A lot of that older housing stock has original stucco or plaster that's been patched unevenly over the decades. We see it constantly. Color mismatches, cracked coats, failed repairs from contractors who didn't understand the original mix. Getting it right means knowing what was there first.
The climate here is brutal on exteriors. Minneapolis winters push well below zero, and the freeze-thaw cycles from November through March work moisture into every small crack. Summer humidity adds another layer of stress. Stucco that isn't applied correctly, or repaired with the wrong product, won't survive more than a few seasons. We've been doing this work in this climate for over 30 years. We know what holds and what doesn't.
