Plaster Work During Home Renovations
Home renovations rarely happen in one trade at a time. Electricians are running new wire, carpenters are framing additions, and tile setters are finishing bathrooms, all while you're living in part of the house. We schedule our plastering work so it doesn't block other trades and so the plaster has time to cure before the painters come in. That kind of coordination is what keeps home renovations on schedule.
We also handle the kind of repair work that shows up mid-project, a cracked section of original plaster that gets exposed during demo, or a ceiling that needs to be feathered in after a soffit comes down. If something unexpected comes up during your remodel, we're reachable and we can usually get back on site quickly.
Matching Finishes in Existing Rooms
This is where most plastering contractors fall short on renovation work. When you add a room or open up a wall, the new plaster has to match what's already on the surfaces nearby. That means matching the texture, the sheen, and sometimes even the color of a finish that was applied 40 or 50 years ago.
We bring finish samples and test patches before committing to a full wall. If we can't get a match we're confident in, we'll tell you before we start, not after. Twin Cities Metro and Suburbs homeowners have trusted us with their renovation work for decades because we're straight about what's achievable.
