Lakeville sits at the southern edge of Dakota County, about 25 miles south of downtown Minneapolis. The city has grown hard over the last two decades. Areas like Summerfield, Antlers Park, and the neighborhoods near downtown Lakeville mix newer builds with homes from the 80s and 90s that are starting to need exterior work.
That combination keeps us busy out here. The winters hit Lakeville like they hit anywhere in southern Minnesota. Freeze-thaw cycles crack stucco, push moisture behind EIFS panels, and work gaps open around windows and trim.
By the time spring arrives, a lot of homes need a close look on the exterior. We know what that climate does to stucco finishes, and we know what to look for.
