Eden Prairie is a well-built suburb. The housing stock leans toward executive-style homes and newer developments, with neighborhoods like Bearpath, Hennepin Village, and Eden Lake anchoring a lot of the residential work we see. Many homes here were built in the 1990s and 2000s, which means stucco and EIFS systems are hitting the age where repairs and recoating become necessary. Cracking around window frames, failing paint coats, and moisture intrusion behind cladding are common calls we get from this part of the metro.
The climate in Eden Prairie is hard on exterior finishes. Winters push well below zero, and the freeze-thaw cycles that run from November through March put real stress on any stucco system. Summer brings heat and humidity that can work against poorly mixed or improperly applied finishes. We've seen what Minnesota weather does to stucco that wasn't done right the first time, and we know what products and techniques hold up here long-term.
